At Cornell Fitness, we believe in result achieving workouts that are catered to your specific needs. What the person doing beside you doesn’t matter, and neither does your fitness level. Do what you’re capable of doing, and have fun doing it.
Bootcamp is the bread and butter of Cornell Fitness. This 60 minute class is meant to push your strength and endurance at the same time. Cornell Fitness takes pride in that no class has ever been duplicated. Our bootcamps incorporate a variety of different styles; circuit training, plyometric training (“jump” training), HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), core strengthening, full body dynamic exercises, boxing, and powerlifting movements. Our fitness challenges at the end of the class have become a staple and offer that extra bit of friendly competitiveness amongst our members. Fun weekly prizes are given to reward your accomplishments.
This unique 60 minute class focuses on your 3 strongest lifts – the squat, bench press and deadlift. We guarantee strength gains by the end of the session. Core integrity is the utmost importance of this class while focusing on movements to develop your lower and upper body strength. The class is designed to build lean muscle mass and tone the entire body while boosting overall strength. Circuits are always performed at the end of the class to increase endurance.
This class is designed to be a 60 minute cardio conditioning circuit that’s meant to push the body to the limit. All exercises are bodyweight based and allows more function in movements and everyday life. The ideology of this camp is to burn those unwanted calories during class and for several hours afterwards.
This 30 minute high intensity class is specifically designed to target the big 3 – Booty, Abs and Core 😉. This class integrates various exercises in order to tone up and build muscles in the buttocks, tummy, and full core while getting a great cardio workout too. For those who can’t devote a full hour or want to add an additional workout, it’s 45 minutes of exercise in just 30 minutes – a great compliment to Bootcamp.

Training doesn’t have to be boring.
All of the workouts are different with unique exercises and a variety of equipment. No workout is the same. This keeps your body guessing and works all muscle groups. While you train, you’ll be pushing yourself to gain results, but having fun while doing it. Your time is precious and we believe in order to stick to your workout goals, you have to enjoy your workout. We coach in a friendly manner, providing result achieving workouts that are catered to your specific needs. We welcome all levels. No egos. You push yourself to your ability only.
All workouts are different. Always changes and keeps your body guessing. Unique exercises and equip are incorporated.
While you train you’ll be pushing yourself but will have fun. Friendly environment and you will be laughing and enjoying it. You won’t be screamed at. More of a supportive coaching lead than anything else.

Cornell Fitness is a home gym located in Cornell, a unique neighbourhood in Markham. Our facility is located minutes from Highway 7 and the 407, minutes from the Cornell community centre and Markham Stouffville Hospital, with easy accessibility and street parking. Cornell Fitness offers a variety of Group Classes and Personal Training for adults and children.
Our facility is approximately 1000 square feet of open gym space. We are equipped with a wide range of equipment to host group classes as well as private personal training catered to your specific needs.
